Car prowl: A resident reported a car prowl in the 2900 block of 76th Avenue Southeast.

Nov. 14

Arrest: A subject was arrested for possibly driving under the influence in the 9100 block of Fortuna Drive.

Malicious mischief: It was reported that mailboxes appeared to be pried open in the 8000 block of Southeast 45th Street.

Nov. 12

Door knocker: It was reported that a subject was knocking on doors at night in the 2900 block of 76th Avenue Southeast.

Theft: A resident reported a porch package theft in the 6300 block of 84th Avenue Southeast.

Trespasser: An unwanted subject was trespassed from a building in the 2700 block of 78th Avenue Southeast.

Spell check: A subject in the 7000 block of Southeast 29th Street contacted police when she was concerned for her friend’s safety when the friend misspelled words while texting. Officers determined that the friend was fine.

Nov. 10

Traffic accident: A driver slammed into a cement wall in the 3000 block of Island Crest Way. The driver was transported to the hospital.

Theft: A porch theft was reported in the 2900 block of 76th Avenue Southeast.

Disturbance: A resident in the 2400 block of 74th Avenue Southeast reported a verbal disturbance.

Unwanted person: It was reported that a person was repeatedly found sleeping in a restroom in the 2800 block of 78th Avenue Southeast.

Fraud: A subject attempted to pass a fraudulent check at a business in the 2700 block of 77th Avenue Southeast.

Nov. 3

Car prowl: It was reported that a car window was smashed and nothing was stolen in the 2800 block of 75th Place Southeast.

Burglary: It was reported that a suspect stole a laptop from a business office in the 7600 block of Southeast 27th Street.

Welfare check: A subject in the 2500 block of 76th Avenue Southeast who appeared to be under the influence of substances was transported to the hospital.

Gas grabber: It was reported that an unknown subject attempted to siphon gasoline from a vehicle and left a hose behind in the 7600 block of Sunset Highway.

Area check: Residents called police to search for a subject going door to door in the 3400 block of 76th Place Southeast. The subject confirmed to police that he was doing legitimate business.

Oct. 30

Car prowls: Numerous car prowls were reported in the 2700 block of 63rd Avenue South.

Welfare check: A police officer contacted a subject sleeping in a bathroom stall in the 2000 block of 72nd Avenue Southeast.

Fraud: A caller in the 9000 block of East Shorewood Road discovered they had been making student loan payments to a fraudulent company for the past two years.

Oct. 28

Welfare check: A school resource officer assisted on a welfare check for a student at home in the 4200 block of 94th Avenue Southeast.

Fraud: A caller in the 8300 block of Southeast 34th Street reported losing $500 in a gift-card email scam.

Oct. 27

Noise annoys: A resident in the 8000 block of North Mercer Way reported a loud juvenile party.

Theft: A suspect was seen on Ring camera allegedly stealing a package in the 3200 block of 80th Avenue Southeast and was soon contacted by police officers.

Oct. 26

Traffic accident: A minor injury accident involving a bicyclist was reported near eastbound Interstate 90.

Car prowls: Multiple car prowls were reported in the 8000 block of Avalon Drive.

Unwanted person: Police officers assisted a business manager with an unwanted person in the 2700 block of 77th Avenue Southeast.

Theft: It was reported that someone broke into a storage unit and stole items in the 7700 block of Sunset Highway.
