Vehicle prowl: Someone stole multiple items overnight from an unlocked vehicle in the 2700 block of 72nd Avenue Southeast.

Possible shoplifting: In the 2700 block of 80th Avenue Southeast, an officer contacted a subject with a shopping cart full of items after a possible unreported shoplifting occurrence.

Burglary: Someone stole multiple tools from a residence under construction in the 3400 block of 77th Place Southeast.

Dec. 10

Juvenile found: Officers assisted in locating a missing juvenile in the 9000 block of East Shorewood Drive.

Assault: A physical assault occurred in a business in the 2700 block of 77th Avenue Southeast.

Spray painting: Spray paint markings were discovered on city property in the 8000 block of Southeast 24th Street.

Fraud: A resident in the 8400 block of Southeast 62nd Street received a fraudulent bill for an account he didn’t open.

Theft: Suspects paid the victim with counterfeit money for the electronics being sold in the 2700 block of 77th Avenue Southeast.

Fraud: A resident in the 8900 block of Southeast 54th Street fell victim to extortion from someone he was engaging with online.

Package thefts: There have been Island-wide thefts from porches and businesses.

Dec. 6

Coyote concerns: Residents in the 8800 block of Southeast 59th Street are concerned about coyotes on the Island. The city referred the concerns to the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife.
