Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, many of the local city and school offices on the Island will be closed, some until Monday.

The Mercer Island City offices will be closed on Thursday and Friday for the holiday, as will Mercer Island School District schools.

The Post Office will also be closed on Thanksgiving.

Albertsons will be open from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thanksgiving. The north end QFC will be open on the holiday until 6 p.m. and will reopen Friday at 6 a.m. The south end QFC will close at 6 p.m. as well on Thursday, and reopen Friday at it’s normal time of 5 a.m.
