Vehicle crashes into tree in The Boyd Collection parking lot

On the afternoon of April 5, a driver attempting to park in a space in The Boyd Collection lot surged forward and crashed his red SUV into a tree on the sidewalk, according to witnesses. Police, fire and emergency vehicles were on the scene after receiving a call at about 2:20 p.m. and the driver received a precautionary transport to the hospital with a possible injury, according to police and witness reports.
