Blake Steven Riebe, of Mercer Island, and Kimberly Jean Cline, of Des Moines, Iowa, were married on Sept. 5, 2009, outside at the Salisbury House in Des Moines, Iowa. A reception followed at the Center for Performing Arts in Des Moines. The groom is the son of Steve Riebe and Ann Rhodes, of Mercer Island. He graduated from Mercer Island High School in 2001 and received a Bachelor of Science in bioengineering from the University of Washington in 2005. He was an officer in the U.S. Navy and is attending Des Moines University Medical School through 2011. The bride is the daughter of Keith Cline (Des Moines, Iowa) and Sally and William Stanley (Clio, Iowa). She is also a medical student at Des Moines University and will graduate in 2011. The couple honeymooned in Europe and makes their first home in Des Moines.
