August 10, 1930 – January 16, 2025

Marilyn R. Morgan passed away January 16, 2025. She was born August 10, 1930, in Omaha, NE, to Eva and Joe Larson. She grew up in Bellevue, NE, and graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan University.

She was a Chapter Consultant for Phi Mu Sorority for several years before moving to Seattle and marrying Reid Morgan in 1957. Marilyn worked for the University of Washington in the Dean of Women’s office from 1957 to 1963. She was very active with the Overlake Hospital Foundation, Seattle Symphony, Women’s University Club, and Phi Mu Sorority at UW. Marilyn is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, and two grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on February 24th at 2:00 pm at Mercer Island Presbyterian Church, where she was a member since 1966.
