Suzan “Suzie” Jean Allyn Scaringi | Obituary

Suzan “Suzie” Jean Allyn Scaringi died peacefully on June 24, 2022 with her sons by her side.

She was born to Bill and Marjory Allyn on July 22, 1947 in Se- attle at Providence Hospital.

Suzie attended Franklin High School in Seattle. It was during her high school years that she met her husband, Michael Scaringi, whom she married in 1967. She later graduated from the UW with a BA in Home Economics.

Suzie spent most of her life as a resident of Mercer Is- land. She and her family lived in a home that was built in the 1930s surrounded by fir trees. They enjoyed beautiful views of the Olympic Mountains and Lake Washington. She was an employee of the Mercer Island School District for over 25 years working at both the district office and the high school.

Suzie is survived by her two sons, Tony (Michelle) and Marco (Robyn), her four grandchildren, Michael, Maki, Rosina, and Joanna, her many nieces and nephews, and her countless friends.

Suzie was preceded in death by her husband Michael, her parents, Bill and Marjory, and her two sisters, Joan and Margy.

A celebration of life will be held from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM on 07-29 at Tolt Macdonald Barn, 31020 NE 40th St, Carnation.
