The Boys & Girls Clubs of King County Mercer Island branch will welcome NBA star Jamal Crawford to town for a Summer Basketball Skills Camp from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Aug. 3-5.

Campers will learn the fundamentals of shooting, dribbling, passing, 1-on-1 and more. There will be individual and team competitions, team games and awards. Campers will experience the game in a fun and competitive learning environment from Crawford and his guests. Crawford, a Rainier Beach High star, played for 20 seasons in the NBA.

Camp is for boys and girls from 3rd-8th grades, and players will be placed into divisions based on age and skill levels.
