With a 3-2 win over Bellevue on Tuesday night, the Mercer Island boys soccer team solidified their No. 2 spot in the KingCo league.

Now the Islanders can focus on their attention on Friday’s match up, Sammamish. The Totems sit in the top spot in the league, with a perfect 11-0 league record. The Totems will travel to Islander Stadium Friday evening for a 7:30 p.m. match.

A win over the Totems would help the Islanders as the post season looms.

The Islanders are 8-1-2 in league play and 9-2-2 overall this season.
