The Lake Washington Kangaroos defeated the Mercer Island girls gymnastics team 159-152 on Dec. 13 in a battle between undefeated teams. Lake Washington improved their overall record to 3-0 while Mercer Island dropped to 2-1. Freshman Ally Lavin took third place on floor and freshman Ava Motroni captured third place in vault.
