MIHS senior student athletes sign National Letters of Intent

Twenty-six Mercer Island High School senior student athletes signed National Letters of Intent to play collegiate and university sports next year on June 4 in a ceremony in the high school gym. Their combined grade point average is 3.73.

They are:

Girls swimming — Alexa McDevitt, University of California, Berkeley; Isabel Peng, Cornell College; and CJ Woare, Kenyon College

Boys wrestling — Gordon Gibson, Simon Fraser University; and Lincoln Woods, North Central College

Girls water polo — Kiera McGuire, Wagner College

Boys water polo — Justin Topol, Pomona College

Football — Ethan Kercher, Fort Lewis College

Boys lacrosse — Norman Jess Geoghagan, Vassar College; Seb Gonzalez, Bowdoin College; and Lucas Rosato, Wesleyan

Girls lacrosse — Chelsea Cho, University of Denver; Merrick Loeffler, Lewis & Clark College; and Sophia Loiselle, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)

Girls basketball — Anna Marsh, Westmont

Boys basketball — Will McDonald, Kenyon College
