The Mercer Island girls select basketball program took top honors during the President’s Day weekend tournament hosted by Stanwood.
O’Dea, the No. 1 Metro team, stood in the way of Mercer Island on Tuesday night. A win and the team would play in the district semi-finals and a guaranteed spot in the regional round of the state tournament.

The Mercer Island gymnastics team held their first home meet of the season on the evening of Thursday, Dec. 8. The Islanders faced off against Interlake and Lake Washington.
