Young entrepreneurs on Mercer Island help animals in need

Sydney and Zoe, fourth graders from Mercer Island, decided to raise money for the Seattle Humane Society over the summer. They spent time planning, baking cookies and making a sign for a lemonade stand.

They raised over $100 from generous Island residents on Aug. 20.
