The Mercer Island PTA Council is now taking orders for Graduate Grams. This Island tradition began more than 30 years ago as a way to both congratulate a favorite graduate and to support the PTA Community Scholarship Program. Each Graduate Gram is hand-prepared for its recipient and acknowledges the sender. All proceeds go to the PTA Council Community Scholarship Fund which provides more than 30 scholarships to graduating Mercer Island High School seniors. Graduate Grams may be sent to fifth and eighth graders, college graduates and of course, high school seniors and anyone who has reached an important milestone. E-mail gradgrams@gmail.com for an order form. Mercer Island High School graduation is June 9.
