The King County Library System Board will vote tomorrow, Wednesday, May 28, regarding the “Final” design plans for the Mercer Island Library remodel.
We need every single citizen and library patron (children and youth are especially welcome) who is available to attend this meeting. It is a public forum format, and it is our one opportunity to question the “Final” plan, to ask questions and get answers from KCLS management and the board, and to offer suggestions.
The meeting is at 5 p.m., at the KCLS Service Center, 960 Newport Way N.W., Issaquah. We will be taking carpools from the library at 4 p.m.
Many of us take issue with the “Final” plan for one reason or another. Please visit our website, www.LibraryRemodel.org or email libraryremodel@gmail.com for more information.

Secretary, Concerned Citizens for Mercer Island Library
