Mercer Island Mayor Bruce Bassett met with the fifth-grade Webelos from Pack 668 prior to the City Council Meeting on Nov. 21. Bassett discussed his role and the responsibilities as mayor and how they too can play a role in their local community. The Cub Scouts are preparing to cross over to Boy Scouts this spring.
