Mercer Island’s Youth and Family Services (YFS) department recently wrapped up its Back-to-School Program, which provided support to 41 families to purchase supplies, clothing and shoes to prepare 65 children for the new school year. YFS thanks the many donors who generously supported this program directly through the department, by donating at the Mercer Island Thrift Shop (whose customers contributed more than $3,200), and through the MIYFS Foundation.
