Leap for Green

An Earth Day celebration for kids of all ages is between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on April 19 at the Community Center at Mercer View, 8236 S.E. 24th St. The day includes activities both indoors and outdoors, such as music, storytelling, pizza, art, live reptile exhibits, gardening and more. Jewish themes in opera at the JCC

The Stroum Jewish Community Center in partnership with the Seattle Opera, is presenting “Opera Sings the Soul: Exploring Opera’s Cultural Connections.” Discussions will center on opera’s connection with Jewish themes and performers.
