In the past, airline pilots didn’t have to go on strike. They just went on a slow-down, tuning off the runway to go back for in-flight meals or drinks. Well, that wouldn’t fly now. But, even with happy pilots, there still could be travel disruptions. Not by pilots, but by unionized TSA.

Disgruntled TSA folk could stop holiday traffic on a dime. Even if not stopped completely, travel to grandmother’s house could at least be slowed. Oh, that wouldn’t work either. They’re already intolerably slow.
