Parks survey reminder

Parks survey

If you received a survey from the city of Mercer Island seeking input to update the city’s Parks, Recreation, and Open Space (“PROS”) plan, remember to return it by Monday, March 9.

If you didn’t receive a paper survey in the mail, you can complete one online before Monday, March 9, online at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/PQW2YT3

It took me 10 minutes to fill the survey out online — time well spent to give the city your opinion about what the new parks plan should include. In the space where citizens can add what the plan should include, I suggest: Permanent protection of parks and open spaces; no net increase in impervious surfaces; save the Sculpture Park; suspend the use of Roundup.

Meg Lippert

President, Concerned Citizens for Mercer Island Parks
