Accident on I-90 blocking right lane at Rainier Ave.

As of 4:50 p.m. today an accident was blocking the right hand land of eastbound I-90 in Seattle.

Washington State Department of Transportation is reporting an accident in the right hand lane of eastbound Interstate 90 at 18th Ave S., near the on ramp for Rainier Ave .

Currently the right hand lane is blocked with police and fire on the scene.

Prepare for backups through the tunnel until it’s cleared.
