An enjoyable Community Day of Inclusion

The Mercer Island PTA’s Special Services and Learning Differences (SSALD) Group hosted its second annual Community Day of Inclusion on May 3 at Northwood Elementary School. Attendees checked out Mercer Island School District electric buses, explored the Mercer Island Police Department’s Marine Patrol boat, played video games, tried adaptive bicycles, played in a bounce house and visited with Seahawk mascot Blitz and more than 20 community groups.
