The North end Third Thursday Art Walk this month, from 5:30 to 8 p.m., not only features Mercer Island businesses sponsoring art at their sites, but also a concert by Stephanie Porter and her band.

Porter works as the business manager at 77 Central apartments. The band will be performing from 7 to 8 p.m. in front of U.S. Bank, weather permitting. In the event of rain, Porter will perform inside Mercer Luxury Apartments.

Sponsoring businesses for this evening of art, music, light snacks and other goodies include Bennetts Bistro, Continental Travel, HSBC Bank, 77 Central Apartments, Mercer Island Eyeworks, Mercer Island Luxury Apartments, Mercer Island Martial Arts, Qliance Care Specialists/Dr. Faith Reeves, Six Walls, Sterling Bank, Sushi Joa, The Olde Wine Store, U.S. Bank and What to Wear.

There will be a drawing following the concert for a surprise gift basket with items contributed by participating vendors. You must visit each site to get your “passport” validated for the prize. You must be 18 to enter and be present to win.
