Oct. 30

For the birds: A caller in the 7800 block of Southeast 28th Street witnessed a subject toss bird seed on top of the caller’s parked vehicle, attracting birds onto the car.

Theft: A resident in the 9700 block of Southeast 35th Place noticed a license plate was stolen from their vehicle.

Oct. 29

Assault: In the 6100 block of 90th Avenue Southeast, a disagreement between neighbors allegedly became physical. Officers interviewed the parties and could not determine that a crime likely occurred.

Vehicle prowl: In the 7800 block of North Mercer Way, a subject swiped some items from inside a vehicle after entering the vehicle by damaging the driver door and then the steering wheel column.

Theft: Someone stole packages from a front porch in the 2400 block of 76th Avenue Southeast.

Oct. 26

Vehicle prowl: Someone snagged backpacks from inside a vehicle in the 4100 block of Boulevard Place.

Oct. 23

Fraud: A resident in the 7700 block of Southeast 58th Street had their social security number used to open fraudulent accounts.

Theft: At a business in the 7800 block of Southeast 28th Street, a witness spotted subjects stealing a shopping cart full of merchandise. The subjects fled on foot and the stolen goods were recovered.
