Boys & Girls Club must verify funding

Taxpayers in our Mercer Island School District need verification that PEAK has its total funding — consistent with the agreement. The item for final PEAK approval is on the agenda for this Thursday, Feb. 12. That final approval should be given only when the money (not in pledges in this economic climate) is in the bank.

Taxpayers in our Mercer Island School District need verification that PEAK has its total funding — consistent with the agreement. The item for final PEAK approval is on the agenda for this Thursday, Feb. 12. That final approval should be given only when the money (not in pledges in this economic climate) is in the bank.

By “in the bank,” one would have the $14 million in 70 separate ones to secure it.
