STRENGTHS: “A lot of guys played club in the offseason and will be able to hit the ground running,” said new head coach Erik Grosshans.

“We have a strong senior class and everyone has good chemistry,” said senior David Rudokas. “We’re coming in with a lot of experience.”

FOCUS: “We want to build off last year,” said the coach. “Focused on doing better, and I’ve been impressed with what I’ve seen so far. The goal is to make state and getting back to state. It would be great to place.”

“We’ve been working really hard, but it’s a necessary evil,” said senior Sam Peterson.

“We pride ourselves on getting in shape and being in better shape than anyone else,” said Sebastian Aron.

SENIORS: Sam Peterson, David Rudokas, Rileigh Greutert, Sebastian Aron, Connor Gullstad and Marek Prussak.

GAME TO WATCH: “Bellevue is the defending state champion,” said Grosshans. “We’re looking forward to every game and taking them all seriously. We’re going to a couple tournaments, one in Portland and San Diego, and I know the guys look forward to those and getting out of town.”

The seniors also added Newport to the list of games they are excited for.
