Holiday Tree Chipping: through Jan. 10. Bring your undecorated holiday tree to the city’s Maintenance Shop at 9601 S.E. 36th St. during daylight hours for the city’s holiday tree chipping service. City staff will repurpose the tree for use in city parks, trails and open spaces. Remove all objects from trees; flocked or artificial trees not accepted. (206) 275-7608.

Christmas Tree Collection: Yard debris customers can set holiday trees out on their regularly scheduled collection day. Trees must be free of flocking and all objects, cut to 4-foot lengths and tied into bundles less than 2 feet by 3 feet wide.
