Islanders can safely dispose of old equipment, hardware, appliances and other household items at the annual Mercer Island Spring Recycling Event from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on March 25 at City Hall. People can enter using the main (eastern) City Hall driveway and follow posted signage.
