Paul Gauguin and the Search for Paradise: 7 p.m., Jan. 25. The Seattle Art Museum presents a blockbuster exhibit, “Gauguin and Polynesia: An Elusive Paradise” opening in February. Art historian Susan Olds presents a slide lecture covering Gauguin’s years in Paris and the Pacific Islands.
