Cynthia Dasté, executive director of the Mercer Island Youth and Family Services Foundation, will present “Helping Islanders in Need” at the Rotary Club of Mercer Island’s Jan. 26 meeting.

Dasté brings a wealth of experience to her role with more than 25 years of experience working with nonprofit organizations. She was the executive director of the Auction of Washington Wines for eight years, where she increased fundraising by five times; and the JDRF Seattle Guild, where she led some of its most successful fundraising efforts, generating millions of dollars. For the four years prior to joining the Island foundation in September, she ran Dasté and Associates, a consulting firm specializing in maximizing nonprofit operations and event planning.
