Sept. 6

Swimmer located: Police Marine Patrol located a reported missing swimmer safely on another boat at 6:40 p.m. in the waters west of the Island.

Sept. 4

Sex offense: It was reported at 10:30 a.m. in the 7000 block of Southeast 24th Street that a subject was allegedly photographing co-workers inappropriately without their knowledge.

Sept. 3

Get off my lawn: A caller reported at 8:10 a.m. that his neighbor in the 4800 block of East Mercer Way was fertilizing and watering the caller’s lawn without permission.

Sept. 2

Break-in: Apartment managers notified a resident at 10 a.m. that somebody broke into his unit in the 2600 block of 77th Avenue Southeast.

Sept. 1

Vehicle prowls: It was reported at 8:20 a.m. that three vehicles were prowled and items were stolen in the 3200 block of 80th Avenue Southeast.

Disturbance: It was reported at 3:50 p.m. in the 3200 block of 80th Avenue Southeast that a female approached the victim’s front door and banged on it with a blunt object while making threats.

Stolen vehicle: Someone broke into a locked vehicle at 5 p.m. in the 7900 block of Southeast 34th Street. A spare key was left inside and the vehicle was stolen.

Aug. 31

Noise annoys: It was reported at 4:39 a.m. that a resident in the 3000 block of 80th Avenue Southeast was asked to quiet down.

Smoke n’ drive: A caller reported at 8:32 a.m. in the 7400 block of 84th Avenue Southeast that individuals were smoking an unknown substance and driving around the Island.

Theft: It was reported at 11:53 a.m. that someone stole rear license plates off of two vehicles in the 2900 block of 76th Avenue Southeast. Security footage was provided.

Noisy neighbor: A resident reported at 12:18 p.m. that a neighbor was yelling in the 3200 block of 80th Avenue Southeast. The yeller agreed to quiet down.

Smash n’ grab: It was reported at 9:19 p.m. that someone smashed a car window and stole a laptop in the 4300 block of 90th Avenue Southeast.

Aug. 27

Bad dog: A disagreement over dog behavior was reported at 10:02 a.m. at the park in the 2000 block of 84th Avenue Southeast.

Theft: It was reported at 11:23 a.m. that a victim witnessed a subject enter the caller’s vehicle and steal belongings in the 2100 block of 76th Avenue Southeast.

Aug. 26

Hotwire failure: It was reported at 9:44 p.m. in the 3000 block of 78th Avenue Southeast that a subject was seen apparently attempting to hotwire a vehicle. The subject was taken into custody after it was confirmed that the vehicle was stolen.

Aug. 25

Malicious mischief: It was reported at 5:29 p.m. that mailboxes were pried open in the 4300 block of Forest Avenue Southeast.

Aug. 24

Collision: A cyclist was treated for an injury after being struck by a vehicle at 7:29 a.m. at the intersection of Southeast Maker Street and West Mercer Way.

Cycle swipe: It was reported at 7:51 a.m. that someone stole a motorcycle in the 2900 block of 76th Avenue Southeast.
