Registration is now available for the Mercer Island economic development virtual community workshop at 6 p.m. on June 30.

This is the first opportunity for the community to weigh in on the city’s new economic development element, which it is drafting as part of the overall Comprehensive Plan update.

During the workshop, residents can weigh in on: their vision for the Mercer Island economy in the coming years; the strengths and opportunities to sustainably grow the local economy; and the weaknesses and challenges that could prohibit sustainable growth of the local economy.
