Feb. 18

Vehicle prowl: A resident in the 7600 block of Southeast 27th Street found her vehicle’s trunk and door opened, but there was no damage or theft.

Theft: In the 7000 block of 93rd Avenue Southeast, someone stole a resident’s mail while they were away for an extended period of time.

Feb. 16

Theft: In an incident captured on a surveillance camera, someone broke into bins and stole clothing overnight in the 7700 block of Southeast 34th Street.

Feb. 15

Malicious mischief: After returning from grocery shopping in the 7800 block of Southeast 28th Street, a man noticed a large dent in his vehicle.

Theft: Someone uprooted an entire mailbox from the ground and stole the box in the 4400 block of East Mercer Way.

Feb. 14

Theft: In the 5000 block of West Mercer Way, someone stole items from a mailbox by possibly using a tool to reach in and swipe the envelopes while not damaging the box.

Feb. 13

Fraud: In the 4600 block of Forest Avenue Southeast, someone used a resident’s personal information to open a cell-phone account. The victim didn’t incur any monetary loss.
