French-style fundraiser for Seattle Children’s medical clowns June 27

The event benefits the professionally-trained clowns who entertain sick children at hospitals like Seattle Children's.

Enjoy French wine, hor d’oeuvres, pastries, coffee, and the delights of a summer night as Room Circus Medical Clowning (RCMC) hosts a French-style fundraiser at a waterfront home on Mercer Island Saturday, June 27.

Featuring French café music by musical act Rouge, the event benefits the professionally-trained clowns who entertain sick children at hospitals like Seattle Children’s with humor, song and magic. Meet members of the RCMC and hear their stories of how their work helps children heal. Although Room Circus Medical Clowns operate at the children’s hospital, they are not funded by the hospital.

The event will run from 7-9 p.m. Tickets are $35. For more information or to purchase tickets, go to www.roomcircus.org.
