Last week, the PDC in Olympia released the names of individuals who owe civil penalties regarding filings of financial information for political campaigns.

The PDC issues a written order to notify the respondent whether penalties were assessed. Penalties are due within 30 days. PDC staff sends a reminder to anyone who has not paid at the end of 45 days. Penalties are referred to the Attorney General for collection after 90 days and nonpayment. Penalties assessed this month by the PDC range from $100 to $2,500.
