Grant-Weddle Wedding

Holly Grant and Nate Weddle were married on Aug. 29 at the Woodmark Hotel in Kirkland, Wash. Pastor Robert Case officiated the wedding ceremony. A reception followed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Bill and Joan Messenger, of Mercer Island, and Richard and Sally Grant, of Bend, Ore. The bride graduated from Mercer Island High School in 2001. She majored in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and Information Systems at the University of Washington and is now employed as an associate at KPMG LLP.

The groom is the son of Mike and Diane Weddle, of Snohomish. He graduated from Archbishop Murphy High School in 2002 and majored in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and Information Systems at the University of Washington. The groom is now a CPA at Moss Adams LLP.

The couple met while volunteering at an event sponsored by the University of Washington Business School.

The maid of honor was the bride’s childhood friend, Kim Santo. The bridesmaids were Allison Shearer, cousin of the bride, and Rachel Salz, friend of the bride.

The best man was the groom’s childhood friend, Steve Ingstad. The groomsmen were Andy Burke and David Wilcox, friends of the groom.

The couple honeymooned in Europe. Their trip included a cruise through Italy, Greece, Turkey and Croatia. The couple recently purchased their first home in Sammamish.
