Mercer Island Hallo-Weekend will soon creep into town with trick or treating and a pumpkin walk.
Trick or treating in Town Center will take place from 4-6 p.m. on Oct. 28 in an event coordinated by the city and the Mercer Island Chamber of Commerce. Participants can locate a map of participating businesses at www.mercerisland.gov/mihalloweekend.
Two days later, the city will present a pumpkin walk from 5-8 p.m. on Oct. 30 along the Mercerdale Park loop, which will be lined with a glowing display of carved pumpkins. Carvers of all ages can participate in the display, and they can drop off their pumpkins from noon to 4 p.m. on the day of the event at Mercerdale Park.
The event is sponsored by John L. Scott Real Estate, Mercer Island Martial Arts and Greg Rosenwald Real Estate.
