Harmful cats?

You know, I haven’t seen a marbled-bellied ivy eater in months. I think the last one flew into a waiting cat’s mouth and was swallowed forever. Now we will have to just cut that ivy down. Also missing is the famous Mercer Island cuckoo bird. Sad. A friend of mine from Jersey called because he hadn’t seen any in their migration back east. He said that he informed the Audubon Society and they, too, were devastated.

Luckily, there were still thousands of the small mammals left alive when we realized that the cats were eating them all. Hmm — rats, mice. What a horror if they were all gone. Actually, I have a few dozen in my yard right now that I am glad to give away. Anyone else have any to share?

How about the raccoons? They aren’t a bother, ripping up people’s yards, entering houses and trashing them, and at times killing those pesky cats? Oh, they are so cute. Some people actually feed them. One person said, “They don’t spread disease to me.” Try Google, get the real answer.

My yard is a National Wildlife Sanctuary, and my cat occasionally kills a rat, a mouse. Now I really feel bad.

Just a minute, I have to go out and stop my cat from devastating the environment. Here, kitty kitty. Too late, it expelled gas and killed three flies.
