The Shay Group, locally owned and operated by First Hill residents Scott and Megan Shay, is now InPeak Properties, LLC. Its offices are located at 2448 76th Ave. SE, Suite 205 on Mercer Island.

Previously operating as TSG Properties and specializing in residential property management, the company was recently renamed and relaunched. It now offers a wider range of real estate services from residential sales to rental leasing and more, with a focus on sustainability and efficiency.

“InPeak Properties is Mercer Island’s truly independent, Island-based real estate brokerage,” according to an InPeak press release. “Unlike other real estate firms on the Island, InPeak is not a corporate office or franchise.”

Megan and Scott Shay also broadcast a weekly podcast about smart home products and technology called “Home Automation Nation” from their Mercer Island home. The podcast has clearly found a following, with about 10 percent week-over-week growth, according to the release.

“We really do our best to dive deep into what makes a home highly efficient, and the products and best practices that go along with that,” Megan Shay stated. “Our ultimate goal is to better serve our clients and our community through knowing as much as we possibly can about green building practices and home automation technology.

“A property can always be improved; our goal is to offer our passion and knowledge of building efficiency to help our clients save money (or make more on the sale) and to improve our community and the environment.”
