An Island mother, Rachael Zorn Mitchell, is creating handmade, one-of-a-kind, head-turning looks through kids’ clothing. Mitchell, 29, started Happy Hollis Design, named after her 1-year-old daughter.
Sewing onesies, T-shirts and sweatshirts for baby showers, the pieces are created out of upbeat fabrics with modern designs.
“I draw on inspiration around me, mostly from my 1-year-old Hollis,” said Mitchell. The onesies are pre-shrunk and flannel-lined for a cozy and comfortable fit.
Mitchell has a booth one Saturday a month at the Issaquah Farmer’s Market between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. at Pickering Barn, 1730 10th Ave. Northwest.
