Quin Snyder, who helped lead the Islander boys’ basketball team to the state title and a No. 1 ranking in 1985, is now head coach of the National Basketball Association’s team, the Utah Jazz.
Snyder’s coaching gigs have spanned the continent — and the world. Before his move to Utah, he worked with teams in Los Angeles, Philadelphia, and Atlanta. He even coached in Russia. This is his first NBA head coaching job.
