REPORT: An Islander in the 4300 block of 87th Ave. SE said at 7:18 p.m. that their house was egged.

Dec. 13

THEFT: A UPS package containing jewelry was reported stolen from a front porch in the 7900 block of E. Mercer Way at 10:35 a.m.

Dec. 14

THEFT: Wallets were reported stolen from the JCC in the 3800 block of E. Mercer Way at 1:01 p.m.

THREATS: A note with a bomb threat was found in a classroom in the 9100 block of SE 42nd St. at 2:10 p.m. The suspects were identified, and there was no evidence to suggest the threat was credible.

BLACKMAIL: A victim in the 4400 block of Forest Ave. SE reported at 11:03 a.m. that they received a letter from someone attempting to extort money to stay silent about an unspecified secret.
