D’Ann Jackson, managing broker of John L. Scott Real Estate of Mercer Island was installed this month as the president of the Seattle-King County Association of REALTORS^ko for 2006. She has been active with the 8,000- member association for 13 years and has served on the Board of Directors since 2000.
Jackson is a Washington REALTOR^ko Director and a graduate of the NW Leadership Institute. She serves on the Strategic Planning Task Force and also the NWMLS Forms and By Laws committee and is active in association business at the state and national levels.
Jackson is involved with fundraising events for Children’s Hospital in Seattle as well as events sponsored by the Seattle-King County Association of REALTORS^ko such as the First Citizen Scholarship Foundation Auction. She has been a part of the First Citizen Scholarship committee for the past four years, and has also served on the First Citizen Award committee for three years.
Petra Walker, also with John L. Scott Real Estate of Mercer Island was honored for her outstanding track record of volunteerism which included: the Hospice of Seattle, Mercer Island Kiwanis Club, the Seattle Symphony Volunteer Associates, Mercer Island Children’s Hospital Guild, the John L. Scott Foundation, German American Chamber of Commerce, British American Chamber of Commerce, German Retirement Home, and the Germanics Department at the University of Washington.^ka
