Kemper Development submits design plans for Bellevue Square expansion

Kemper Development has submitted design plans for the expansion of Bellevue Square's southeast corner.

Kemper Development, the owner and developer of Bellevue Square, has submitted design plans for the expansion of Bellevue Square’s southeast corner. If approved, the mixed-use project will include a three-story retail building, three 17-story residential towers and five levels of parking.

A southern tower will include a hotel on the first 10 floors, with residential units on the seven floors above. In all, the three towers will have 303 residential units. The 785,531-square-foot project will require the demolition of the former Oriental Rug Co., and the southeast corner of the existing Bellevue Square parking garage.

A public meeting about the project will be held at 6 p.m. on Sept. 10 at Bellevue City Hall.
