The long-awaited key card gate has been installed for those community members wishing to use the stadium on the high school campus. The system is intended to enhance student safety and secure the field and its equipment and protect the new field turf. Community members who wish to use the high school stadium/track must apply for an electronic “key card” to access the field between the hours of 5 a.m. and 11 p.m. This will eliminate the need to register with the school’s office. The new system will allow the district to know who is using the field for safety and security reasons and to maintain the track and field for use by student and community members who participate in track and field activities. The stadium will remain open without the need for a key card during school-year holiday breaks.

Key card applications are available online or in the Transportation building, 4140 S.E. 86th St., at the rear of the PEAK parking lot. The cost is $5 per person, per year.
