The Lake Washington fastpitch team earned a big win over Mercer Island on Monday, March 26, beating the Islanders 14-3.

The Kangs were up 3-0 through the first inning, with Mercer Island adding one run in the top of the second, before the Kangs added eight runs in the third and fourth. Mercer Island had two runs in the top of the fifth, followed by the final three runs of the game for Lake Washington.

The Kangs had 13 hits for 14 runs and no errors, while Mercer Island had three runs on two hits with four errors.

The Islanders will travel to play Interlake on Wednesday, March 28 at 4:30 p.m.
