Laschever will speak at May 21 Rotary meeting

Eric Laschever, president-elect of Rotary Club of the Pacific Northwest Ending Sex Trafficking, will discuss the challenging topic of sex trafficking in the region at the Rotary Club of Mercer Island’s meeting on May 21 at the Mercer Island Community and Event Center, 8236 SE 24th St. The main meeting begins at 12:30 p.m. Guests are always welcome and there is no fee to attend. An optional buffet lunch is available for purchase.

Laschever will discuss how Rotary is working to help prevent youth from entering the sex trade and avenues to help survivors exit the life.

He is proprietor of Laschever Law, which focuses on climate change mitigation, and is a Mercer Island resident.
