I heartedly “second” Tom Owens’ letter advocating the abandonment of leaf blowers. Get out the rake and/or the push broom, and allow the neighborhood to be more peaceful. Also, consider the old-time “push” reel lawn mower versus gasoline power lawn mower: cheaper, never out of gas, cuts better and no need for a trip to the gym for exercise.
