On behalf of the Mercer Island Schools Band Booster board, I’d like to thank the Community Fund for their generous grant, which allowed us to purchase a brand new podium for the marching band.

This gift will benefit the more than 700 MISD students involved in the band program — culminating at All Island Band Night when student musicians from fifth grade through high school seniors perform for the entire Mercer Island community.

We sincerely appreciate the Community Fund’s ongoing support for our district music programs.
