The event has a new layout this year, with an “Art Alley” leading up to the wine tasting garden in and around the Outdoor Sculpture Park on Sunset Highway.

The third annual Art Uncorked features many Island artisans, from chocolatier Ann Peterson of Island Treats and glass artist Joni Johnson, well known for her glass pumpkins for Mercer Island Youth and Family Services (MIYFS), to children’s musician Nancy Stewart and city employee Scott Greenberg, the winemaker at Convergence Zones Cellars.

Each winery at Art Uncorked will offer tastings of at least two wines each, and wines poured will be available for sale. A portion of the event proceeds will be donated to MIYFS.

The event is free and open to all ages, but for wine tasting, you must be 21 years or older. Those who will be tasting are encouraged to bring their own glass. Special event glasses will be available for a $2 donation.
